I looked at several lid options before deciding to order from Top Lids. Initially I chose them just because I thought their product looked the nicest. Ultimately I'm glad I chose them for the professionalism of the organization.
I originally reached out to a couple custom lid manufacturers, Top Lids was the only one that called me to discuss what I was looking for in a lid. The other company simply sent an email with a link to their site where I could place my order. Tyler from Top Lids probably spent 30-40 minutes with me on our initial call discussing the details. He had several suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of on my own, very helpful.
After we finalized a design I was sent a drawing of exactly what it would look like. Once I approved the design it went to production. Now the downside to Top Lids is it does take a while for manufacturing, If you're in a hurry, this may not be for you. I received an email update on the status of my project and what was going to be accomplished the following week every Friday evening. The timeframe they originally told be it would be completed is when I received the lid.
Once I received the lid, there were some cosmetic scratches, it was kind of a bummer. I reached out to Tyler and once we confirmed that the issues were real we discussed some options to make the situation right. I really wasn't interested in a discount, I just wanted a product that was of high quality and looked good. Once I told them that, they offered to remake the lid.
I just received the new lid and it's perfect. I'm very happy with the end product but I'm glad that I chose a company that stands behind their work and didn't look to take the easy resolution. Their primary concern was to make sure I was happy and they accomplished that. Thank you.
