Perfect compliment to my Red Sea 850G2

I love the lid. I had a clear view Picasso and it was mediocre to this one. The line's quality seems more custom to fit and finish. Love the feed trays and how they sit recessed. Mesh is finer for those jumpers. I had a filefish make it through ClearView. My only complaint was the time it took to receive my lid. I did have some other issues but Toplid and the staff made sure it was fixed correctly. Overall worth the wait

Awesome Product - Red Sea 850

Only negative feedback is the production time. Even if they had not needed to repair the cnc machine, it’s still a several week turnaround. But I got mine today and it’s such a stunning compliment to my tank as opposed to the three piece DIY screen I was using. I can’t think of a way to improve on the design. It’s sturdy and looks like it’ll last for the life of the tank. Really adds a higher level of pleasure to the times I actually stand back and admire all of the work that I have put into this.

What materials are your lids made of?

Our lid frames are made from polycarbonate, thick enough to thoroughly support the lid, but slim enough to keep away excessive condensation and salt creep. Our screens are individually made for us, with thin screen fibers that let through more PAR than other screens, and openings small enough (slightly larger than 1/8") for even the smallest fish or eels to not wiggle through. These materials are water-resistant, easy to clean, and provide long-lasting multi-year protection for your aquarium.
