Order Process

There are 2 types of Top Lid orders, Standard Lids and Custom Lids. A detailed summary of each type are below:

• Shorter Lead Time: 4-5 Weeks
• No Measuring: we have tank measurements so you don't need to
• Slightly Discounted: because we save cost for standard lids, we give the savings to you

• Go to any product page on toplids.com
• Products that have a standard lid option will be shown with a "Standard Lid" button choice above Add to Cart
• Select the Standard Options you'd like before adding to cart
• Checkout just like normal
• Once ordered, your project will be automatically input onto our system and started
• We may contact you for certain things for your lid like Light Mount Spacing or Auto Feeder Location after order if needed. Be sure to include your full contact information in your order including phone number.
• We need this information confirmed before your lid can be made and sent to you, and your project is subject to delays if we don't receive
• We will produce your lid for you and send you pictures of progress along the way
• Once complete we will ship your lid to you

 

• Custom Fit: measured and made specifically for your tank
• Endless Options: choose any option that you'd like, and place where you want

 

• Go to any product page on toplids.com
• Products with a custom lid option will be shown with a "Custom Lid" button choice above Add to Cart
• Select the Custom Options you'd like before adding to cart
• If the product does not have a Custom Lid button, simply add the lid to cart and order, and a Top Lids Designer will contact you shortly on which custom options will work best for you
• Checkout just like normal
• Once ordered, your project will be put into our system and started
• You will receive an email shortly after order titled "[YOUR NAME]'s Book Your Top Lids Design Call". In the email there will be a link to watch our video series on measurements and also to book a Design Call with one of our Designers
• If you do not respond to this email and Book a call you will receive follow up emails and possibly follow up calls from our team until you do so we can help move your project forward
• Book a call with one of our Lid Designers and share with them the location of all of your equipment. Then they will walk you through the measurements we need to be sure your lid is a perfect fit and answer any questions you have.
• You will measure and submit measurements to us in the methods described to you on your measurement call
• We will take those measurements and check them to be sure they all seem to be done correctly. If we see anything that seems off, we will share this with you and ask to remeasure
• When measurements look accurate, we will take them and make a visual model of your lid with all cutouts and measurements that we will cut on our machine, including small spacers around all of your equipment so that your lid is not too tight in those areas
• You will be able to send feedback and changes on your lid. We will change based on this feedback if needed and resend your updated model to you
• Once you approve your model, your lid will be sent to production
• We will produce your lid for you and send you pictures of progress along the way
• Once complete we will ship your lid to you

Please keep in mind that Lead Times listed here or anywhere on toplids.com or mentioned by Top Lids in any other social media channel or any other medium is an ESTIMATED COMPLETION TIME. If certain things happen like machines needing repair in house or Measurement Delays or Model Approval Delays from the Client (You) among many other reasons, then your Project will be delayed and will supersede the lead time stated.

Upon placing an order through Top Lids, each Client of ours agrees to the Terms above and also agrees to follow them in good faith on both the side of the Client and Top Lids. If the above Terms are not followed, any promises or guarantees made by Top Lids to the Client are voided.
