Our custom polycarbonate aquarium lids come with a clear polycarbonate frame that has screen inside all openings of the frame to keep fish in and condensation low. To reduce evaporation, choose our Evaporation Cover option which is a solid piece of polycarbonate material that covers the screened portion of the lid to stop ~60-70% of water evaporation from your aquarium. This greatly helps reduce the need for frequent top offs and maintains stable water conditions.
