Return + Editing Policy
Top Lids does not accept returns for any products. If a product needs to be replaced (see our “Warranty Policy” page for eligible replacement lids), then Top Lids will instruct the Client (You) to provide pictures and / or video of the product in the method instructed by Top Lids, and to keep the defective product. If the defect is due to a fault of Top Lids or Shipping, then Top Lids will ship out a new identical product as soon as possible. The determination of whether a defective product is at the fault of Top Lids or the Client, is at the full discretion of Top Lids.
If the Client would like to send a lid or other product back to Top Lids for any reason or no reason, the Client will be responsible for any and all shipping charges, including international duties and fees associated with international shipping. Top Lids will in no way be responsible for any return shipping charges of any kind, because we never request for a return from a Client.
If the Client would like to have the lid sent back to Top Lids in order to have Top Lids edit it in some way (cutting extra cutouts, adjusting a screen, rescreening, adjusting a spline, resplining, etc), there will be a Service Fee associated with the time and expertise for Top Lids to do this. The amount of the Service Fee is at the full discretion of Top Lids. In shipping the product back to Top Lids, the Client understands and accepts this Service Fee to be charged, and that they are also responsible for all shipping charges, and international duties / fees.
In the event that the spline or screen comes loose from a lid at the fault of Top Lids (improper installation at our facility), Top Lids will send out a replacement spline and screen to the Client to rescreen the lid, and will either send a video to the Client instructing how to rescreen the lid properly, or will schedule a phone call to help guide through the best ways to get the screen tight and aligned. This process takes about 5-10 minutes with 2 people, so please set aside this time at your call time if your lid needs to be rescreened. Any Shipping charges associated with a replacement screen and spline in this case will be the full responsibility of Top Lids.
If the spline or screen comes loose from a lid at the fault of the Client and at no fault of Top Lids, then the Client has the option to buy a replacement screen and spline from Top Lids and have it shipped to them, and go through the same rescreening process with a video or phone call with Top Lids. Any Shipping charges associated with a replacement screen and spline in this case will be the full responsibility of the Client.
The determination of whether a screen / spline coming loose is the fault of Top Lids or the Client, shall be at the full and complete discretion of Top Lids.
Terms and Conditions for Consent at Purchase
Upon placing an order through Top Lids, each Client of ours agrees to the Terms above and also agrees to follow them in good faith on both the side of the Client and Top Lids. If the above Terms are not followed, any promises or guarantees made by Top Lids to the Client are voided.
