Here's a video shot by Rizierro from Canada to showcase the perfectly snug fit of his new lid all the way around the tank, including around his Radion RMS mounts and quarter circle corner overflow.

Below is a slow walkaround of a new Top Lid demonstrating both the tautness of the netting (only using as much as is absolutely necessary to keep tight) and an Auto Feeder Insert Door which covers the gap made by an Auto Feeder Cutout for when company is over, or when you otherwise do not want to see the feeder in plain view for a clean look.

This final video is a closeup of the detailed craftsmanship of these polycarbonate lids, as well as a look of how they come once unboxed from shipping.

Cord Cutout

• Small “U” shaped or 90° angled cutout for in-tank equipment cords exiting the tank without compromising seated lid fit around entire aquarium rim
• Fits exactly to the cord itself, leaving no room for fish to potentially get through
• Compact diameter means that even if the cord slot isn’t being used at the time and is left open, almost all fish will still have no chance to escape
• Can future-proof your system by considering potential equipment changes and upgrades (like powerheads) while still keeping fish safe
• Even if you currently have Ecotech Vortech pumps (with no cords in the tank), it’s still advisable to have at least 2 Cord Cutouts on each lid, as they are not modifiable and it is challenging to predict what equipment needs will be for true system in 3-5 years

Light Mount Cutouts

• Precision-Cut to fit tight around light mount legs
• There is never more than 1/8” between the side of the lid and any part of your light mount, even with curves and screws jutting out
• Protects completely against even the most adventurous and skinny of jumpers (like wrasse and gobies)

Overflow Cutout

------------------------------------------

• Cutouts to go right around the entire overflow box to leave unrestricted access to the overflow chamber
• If you need to access the overflow for any reason, do so without touching the lid, keeping the entire tank protected
• Can also be a solid piece that slots over top of an overflow with a light mount cutout
• This allows the standard overflow lid to come off, and a light mounting arm to be placed directly in the center of the back glass
• Now the Top Lid still fully covers the overflow chamber, while also allowing a light to be mounted in the exact center of your aquarium
• This Custom Overflow Cover can either be made as part of the rest of the lid itself (one solid piece), or as a separate part entirely to be easily removed individually (two separate pieces)

Auto Feeder Cutout

• Auto Feeder Mount Cutouts to allow easy, automatic, and (most importantly) safe feeding of fish while you are away at work or on vacation
• Opening of the Auto Feeder Cutout is Netted just like the rest of the lid, to protect potential fish escape routes
• Our standard mesh screen hole size is 3.5mm, so be sure that your food is small enough to fit through the mesh
• Other options available on request for larger food sizes
• Feeder Guard (the square brace around the opening) ensures that no food bounces off the screen to places its not supposed to be to rot and decay, and all food falls in the same spot in the tank just like normal
• Removable Auto Feeder Insert Doors are available to allow for the Feeder to be taken off at any time (like when company is over or to avoid the aesthetic impact of having a large feeder on the tank rim) while still protecting against fish escape routes (pics below)

Custom Cutouts

• Any equipment that goes over top of the rim of the aquarium like loc-line return fittings, U-tube overflow boxes, or other hang-on-the-back equipment can have custom cutouts to sit in their perfect operating position while the lid hugs tightly around them
• We will design these cutouts around precise measurements that we will show you how to take, so that when you get your lid, you will not have to move any of your equipment. The lid will simply slot in perfectly around everything to keep the function of your aquarium exactly the same, just enhanced with the new lid

Evaporation Cover

• Solid piece of our high durability polycarbonate material that seals the entire inner section of the Fusion Vent Frame
• 75-80% less evaporation (from extensive testing on our side) while still maintaining full gas exchange and oxygenation
• As the tanks get larger, the evaporation savings increase
• Slim Evap Cover = slim piece of polycarbonate that rests recessed inside the inside portion of the Fusion Vent Frame
• Keeps the Evap Cover itself out of view to keep the classic Fusion Vent look, while still catching all evaporation

Perimeter Moonlight (Laser) Bar

• Add a laser moonlight bar around the perimeter of your lid for a stunning nightlight after lights out
• Can continue to enjoy the tank later at night when the display lights kick off (to not blind the viewer and create a softer more relaxing atmosphere)
• Laser lighting ensures that the moonlight bar will function as long as the lid itself, as long as properly taken care of
• Color of choice out of Blue, Green, or Red

Dimensions: These lids are cut with completely custom dimensions, so exact dimensions for each lid will be set by each individual client’s tank. However, we do have exact dimensions and standard cutout options for popular tank brands such as:

Material: Lexan Polycarbonate

Each of our lids is made and cut from a single sheet of proprietary grade polycarbonate material (not acrylic, and no sections that clip or puzzle piece together). What this means is...

1. Won't flex, warp, or bow over time like acrylics or sectioned lids where the frame is made in multiple pieces
2. UV and High Intensity Lighting Resistant (Won't cloud or discolor over time like acrylic)
3. Will not shatter if dropped accidentally (like glass or acrylic)
4. Scratch Resistant when cleaning or moving around (or when cats are on top), and maintains clarity due to polished finish and lack of scratches
5. Incredibly lightweight (just a few pounds) and easy to move around for cleaning, maintenance, aquascaping, etc.
6. Inert, chemical-free, and aquarium safe
7. Custom built to last the lifetime of your tank (5-10+ years of protection)

Precision-Fit:

• We design every lid from scratch to be sure that it acts how it is supposed to, and leaves no gaps for the adventurous fish to explore. 
• Every aquarium is different, from shape and dimensions, to desired aesthetic and atmosphere, to in-tank equipment and personal use
• Because aquarium lids are the only sure-fire insurance policy against jumping fish, we CAD / 3D model and design each individual lid from scratch to be sure that it covers and protects every single inch (more like millimeter) of each tank's top opening, and hugs tightly around all wires, overflows, light mounts, auto fish feeders, and other in-tank or rim-based equipment
• When ordering from us, we will show you this model with all of your measurements so you can freely double check and change anything that you’d like before approving for cutting
• Each individual lid is CNC machine cut directly from the personal model we create for each client

Lead Time Estimation: 6-8 weeks after approving your 3D Model

• WE TAKE OUR LEAD TIME VERY SERIOUSLY:
• We are in an industry where clients and their fish rely on our lead times being accurate
• If we overstep our lead time, then clients who perhaps have fish on order are forced to put them in tanks that are not protected, and risk them perishing early
• Lives are at stake, so we have recently moved to a much larger facility and invested in a host of new machinery to make our lead time of 6-8 weeks (after approving a 3D Model) easy to meet
• However, as with any custom company, lead times can vary slightly the custom needs of each lid.
