I have made my own lids for years, but felt like one thing was always lacking on the builds. I have contemplated getting a lid from Top Lids for the last few builds, and finally did it with this setup! My only regret is waiting so long to finally get one. Currently working on a new build and it will definitely have a Top Lids on it! The entire process from initial inquiry to delivery was flawless. I'm very satisfied with the way this lid turned out. We had many emails back and forth about how I wanted it designed and they always replied in a timely manner.
The feeding holes are 100% what I was looking for when I started searching for a new open top style cover for my aquarium, they make feeding time much easier without having to lift the entire top to spot feed the eel or pour food in front of the powerheads.
The edge to edge coverage on this thing is amazing as well, there is a lip covering the top of the glass so splashes rarely result in drips down the outside of the glass.
I got the feeder hole with cover for when I'm out of town, it works exactly as intended with or without the feeder installed.
My biggest request was to not have a center bar on my aquarium due to the single light fixture over the center, I was getting weird shadows and growth with my previous top.
The netting is smoother and flatter than other tops I've seen, it's just nicer. It is set very taught in the lid, enough to set my feeding doors on top of without noticeable sagging.
I feel like I'm missing something... it's just so nice to have and I'd feel upset without it at this point.

All in all, I'd say this was entirely worth the money and effort to get everything exact. Just remember to specify if you're measuring from the inside or the outside of the glass.
