I was looking for something that was aesthetically unique as well as functional for my RedSea Reefer 170. Given that it's a cube I wanted something that favored the straight and diagonals lines that I see throughout my aquarium. After a few sketches and further discussion, we agreed that we would need to go the custom route. I drew up and designed exactly what I had in mind and shared it with Tyler, Fernando, and the rest of his team. My vision was understood and ultimately every discussion we had was catered around getting exactly what I wanted. Even when we reached a point where it was something they hadn't been done before it didn't stop them from pausing doing some research and checking in with their engineers to see it was feasible. The end result is unmistakenly a Top Lids product. Precise, well made, and of high quality, even if it doesn't look like what you're accustomed to seeing from them. Ultimately if you have a vision for something you haven't seen before, I would reach out to Top Lids because they will most likely be the ones to bring it to life.
